Twitter and Check My Vinyl

Do you use twitter? Have a desire to post a tweet when you add a new record to your list? Well now you can. In your account settings there is now a section to enter your twitter username and password and the text you would like to be posted to twitter. At the bottom of the "add a record" screen where will be a check box confirming if you would like to sen this to your twitter feed. By default this is unchecked.

The text format box is where you decide what gets posted to twitter. When you add a new record to your list it will send a post to twitter with the text you entered in the format box. Right now you can't vary the text per post other than the title or album name and the link to that record.

To better clarify here is an example:
"Just added !title to my record it list, check it out !url".
this text can be sent to twitter for every record you add, the !title part will fill in the album name and the !url part will put in the url to that specific record. This can say anything you want as long as you keep within the twitter 140 character limit. There is also a checkbox to automatically use tinyurl if you have a url in your post. The example above will look like this on twitter.
